July 24th is Margarete Steiff's birthday. She was born in 1847 in Germany and founded Steiff. So this month's bear, is of course, a Steiff bear.

Little teddy bears are incontestably adorable, as cute as the little ones themselves. Teddy’s are the first thing mum and dad, granny and grandpa rush out to buy, after all, what could possibly be more fitting? They are cute, cuddly, soft, adorable, innocent, untainted, fresh, and loving – all those terms one associates with warmth.

Thanks for the post, No matter where children go or how long their journeys are the majority of them will have a toy, or doll, or something that they always have with them, but when that toy is an interactive one then the day out becomes a much more fun experience.

In the United States, President Roosevelt (who gave his name to the Teddy Bear) was very quick to recognise the great appeal of the teddy bear, infact, he used the teddy as a mascot for the rest of his political career and when Roosevelt entered halls for discussions the music
